When I created this blog I had the lofty idea of writing on various topics to see how my political world view meshes with Christianity. I created this knowing virtually nothing related to developing websites. (instead I found an easy blog-type template and have used it ever since)

I stumbled on a book that does a great job trying to answer various topics related to Libertarianism: Faith Seeking Freedom - Libertarian Christian Answers To Tough Questions.

This book gives very brief (but well thought out) answers to some of the difficult questions Christian Libertarians receive. A few examples:

- "Aren't libertarians hedonists who just want to live however they want to?"

- "How can a Christian support the pursuit of profit when the Bible says the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"?

- "Isn't the government an institution created by God? How can a Christian square this truth with being anti-government?"

These are all great questions and deserve a Biblical response. I read through this book in record time, because I was so excited to see these topics discussed. If this interests you, I definitely recommend it. The answers are brief, but they list many verses as support and also suggest supplemental reading material. I'll have to read through this again and maybe pick up a few topics and dive into them in a bit more detail.

By the way, I'm in no way affiliated with this book and don't know any of the four authors. I heard about this book by listening to the GodArchy podcast with the authors. (which I also recently discovered!) There's not many of us, but it's great to see other believers spreading the ideas of non-aggression and voluntaryism through a Biblical perspective.

That's all I've got. I had to let people know about this book since it does exactly what I initially set out to do. They just did this much better than I could ever have hoped to do. Take care everyone!
